This years awards are to be held in the Sky City Convention centre on Wednesday November 3.
We have made improvements in a number of areas and will notify you of the process and ask for nominations early June 2010.
Nominations for the 2010 Awards are now open.
The Award Process
This year’s awards process has changed for all categories (with the exception of Insurer of the Year).
Applications / Nominations will be made through an initial “Expression of Interest” form to register for an Award.
The information submitted will be subject to an assessment review by an Independent Evaluator.
Successful nominees identified as finalists will be notified and asked for further evidence to support their nomination. The Independent Evaluator may also seek an interview before preparing a full evaluation of each nominee. The evaluation will then be referred to the Judging Panel for their decision on a winner in each category.
Individuals and organizations may apply in their own names and /or may nominate others subject to them agreeing to be nominated.
All finalists must agree that they will attend the Awards Gala Dinner (Complimentary Dinner Ticket for Awards to individuals)
Nominations for The Insurer of the Year are not required as this award is decided by the results of the Annual Broker Survey.
Awards Process
The General Insurance Industry Awards incorporates a four-stage process.
- Stage 1
The Awards Nomination form will register your interest in being considered for an award.
The deadline for receiving expressions of interest is 09 July 2010
- Stage 2
Successful finalists will be notified by the 23rd July. At this point they will be asked to provide more detailed (up to 10 pages) information to be received by 20 August 2010
- Stage 3
Independent evaluators will assess finalists’ submissions. They may then meet with finalists to verify and clarify details from the application
- Stage 4
Once completed, the evaluations will be passed to the judging panel who will select the winner in each category.
Winners will be announced at the black tie gala dinner 3rd November 2010 at the Sky City Convention Centre.
